I would consider Emilio de la Morena an inspiration for young designers, as there is a wide variety between his collections. For SS13, he graced us with a sexy take on tailoring by combining a striking red with black and white, while in AW13 much duller colours were used to create loosely fit tailored garments with complex patterns based on geometric designs.
Emilio de la Morena was born in Spain and moved to London to study at Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion. He then worked for such designers as Rafael Lopez and Jonathan Saunders.
He explores new ways of putting clothes together, and it shows in his work.
On Saturday, 10am, his collection will be shown at London Fashion Week.
